Over the weekend, I was browsing at a bookshop when I came upon a series of books titled "Viking" by Tim Severin. After reading the blurbs, I was delighted to see that the books were historical fiction novels based around the time of the discovery of North America by the Vikings. I purchased the three books in the series and have started reading them.
These books so far have included descriptions of "Vinland", the "Skraelings" (Native Americans) etc.
These books will be used as additional research and inspirational material.
